I believe that all wealth starts first in the mind. If you want to be wealthy, the first thing you have to do is get your wealthy thoughts out of your mind, so they exist in reality.
Learn how to do the right things with your mind, and money will be attracted to you.
And I am not the only one who thinks this way.
For example, I was reading a Forbes article yesterday about self-made millionaires, and the best strategies they use to build wealth.
Strategy number 4 was: Change your Mindset about Money. The article went on to say:
“Getting rich begins with the way you think, and what you believe about making money,” writes Steve Siebold in, “How Rich People Think.” The author continues, “The rich eventually figure out training your mind to find solutions to difficult problems is the real secret to making money. The good news is this is possible for anyone who conditions their mind to think this way, and then transforms thought into action.”
It made me feel good, because I realized that I am not the only one who thinks this way. The truth to creating wealth is: First, create thoughts that have immense value in the world. Then, add action to those thoughts so you can turn your dreams into reality.
Here is another great quote showing the mind’s dynamic relationship to building wealth. “I don’t fix my problems. I fix my thinking. then problems think themselves.” (Louis L. Hay)
Here are Four Tips to Help You Attract Money With Your Mind:
Wealth is in the Mind: Secret#1 = Become a Master of Yourself
If you want to create wealth, your most important job should be figuring yourself out:
Nobody should be better at making you perform than you.
Stop seeing the job you work at as your most important role in life. Your job is NOT who you are. Your job exists so you can make money to help you find yourself. Your job should be there to compliment who you are, not to define who you are.
Start seeing your life as your most important job. Go on a mission to figure yourself out, and ask yourself: Who am I? Why am I here? What makes me sad? What makes me feel alive? What motivates me to waste money? What motivates me to save money?
Becoming aware of yourself, is the first step to mastering your life.
Stop for a second. Look around at your life. Your present life is the training grounds to help you become who you’re supposed to become.
God is using this moment to prepare you for the next journey you’re supposed to go on in life. Start thinking deeply at all times about who, why, and how, you’re here. Look for clues as to what you were made on earth to do. Mastering yourself is the first step to master everything else in your life.
Wealth is in the Mind: Secret #2 = Master Your Environment
Once you start mastering yourself, shift your attention and start mastering the environments you’re in. Ask yourself this question: Are the environments you’re in helping you find the life you’re searching for? Or are they holding you back?
Successful people don’t succeed in life on their own. They succeed because they have teams of friends that help them achieve their goals. Wealthy people are always asking themselves: Are you immersed in great environments that are naturally pushing you toward your dreams? Or are they hurting your chances to find your dream life?
If you’re stuck in terrible environments, and you’re unwilling to change, just accept the fact that you’re probably screwed and you will not succeed in life. Hopefully that is motivation for you to get up, get out, and start finding better environments that will help you to succeed.
A huge tip to building wealth is: Be willing to exchange your present day comfort, for the chance to create a better future. You can do it. Anyone can. But you’re going to have to be able to take the pain in hard work to change your life.
Here’s another piece of motivation for you: You are going to die one day. Every day you are inching closer toward death and you will never have another chance at being alive again. You’re either going to accomplish your dreams, or you’re not. You have to give up the addiction if comfort, for the addiction of grinding dreams into reality in order to succeed in life.
Wealth is in the Mind: Secret #3 = Stop Waiting. Start Solving Problems.
I believe one of the biggest problems in American society is that everyone is waiting for someone else to tell them what to do with their lives.
I think this is the reason so few Americans find contentment and wealth. The mass American population is waiting for someone else to tell them what to do rather than listening to their souls and going on an adventure to solve their their problems on their own.
This problem probably stems from the way most of us grew up in the public school system. Think about it.
Public school is 12 straight years where we’re trained to do what we’re told. We go to school and wait for our teachers to tell us what to do. Then we go to work, and wait for our bosses to tell us what to do. We get so trained to subconsciously wait for everyone else to tell us what to do with our lives, that we stop taking action to do what our souls want us to do with our lives.
You have to break free from this way of thinking if you’re going to create unique wealth.
Take control of the parts of life you love, and rebel against the parts your soul hates.
Learn what your soul loves, and then go out to creatively create more of that life to live!
Contract everything else out if you need to. Stop waiting for everyone else to show you the way! Become a leader, and take risks to live the life you dream about!
Re-wire everything you’ve been told, and be confident doing the things you want to do. Stop paying attention to everyone else. Isolate each problem you have, and then go on a mission to fix each one. If you can do this, wealth, happiness, and independence can be yours.
Wealth is in the Mind: Secret #4 = Money Buys Freedom; Purpose Creates Wealth.
There is a large population of “rich” people out there who have a ton of money, but only a little bit of happiness. I’ll tell you right now: This is not the life you want.
You want a life where your money, purpose, and talent groove together in a daily dance of harmony. This is how people become really cool and attract money. Add a couple of frugal life tips to your life, and you can begin creating wealth no matter how much money you make.
Imagine your purpose as another human being who is searching for you. But when you become lazy, your purpose also becomes lazy and stops its quest to find you. When you stop being aware, your purpose also stops being aware. When you give up, your purpose also gives up.
But your purpose becomes energized to find you when you devote your life to mastering yourself; improving your environments; and solving the problems in your life.
