As 2017 ends, I want to reflect on some of my favorite writing memories. We started 2017 getting 5-20 page views a day on this blog. We’re ending the year getting 100-300 views a day. Thank you. You are helping me achieve my dream of being a writer. Here are some of my favorite posts and comments from 2017:
“This gave me chills-how I wish I had heard this message in high school. Bravo!” Achieving Your Dreams & Avoiding the Prisons That Incarcerate Your Soul.
“Hi there, I’m a new subscriber, but I just have to say – this was an incredible blog post and exactly what I needed on this Thursday. Thank YOU.” Overcoming Addiction And Finding Your Path to Wealth.
“I can so relate with you. I’m real down and out too and ready to give up. I also have the most money I have ever had saved up too. I cant, don’t enjoy my life because I’m so consumed on saving it. I’m completely O.C. D about not spending a penny. Its crippling.” The Regret Test: Saving Vs Spending Money.
“Awesome post! In 2017, I have priority on top of my PERFECTIONIST PYRAMID. I know focusing on it will help me get me closer to my goal. This Is timely. I love the transparency, nuggets of wisdom and comic relief. Thanks for putting the time in for this masterpiece!” Overcoming Perfectionism and Anxiety: Create Success Instead.
“I just finished reading your book and have assigned it to my son (home-school!). Now following your blog. :-)” Spark: Table of Contents.
“Love it and want to honor those words as well here at home with my two sons. I love your blog and will continue to read and learn more. Teach me more 🙂” Best Advice Ever In Two Words.
“Learn to trust God more than you do your own instincts in life.” That is such a powerful statement. I have read it 3 times and it is still sinking in. While it is very simple to understand, it is so difficult to accomplish because our pride gets in the way. Great insight, brother, great insight.” Building a Relationship With God and Budgeting.
“Thank you for the step by step (to be a millionaire)!! We are almost done with our emergency fund, so we have been actively researching investment opportunities. This is pretty much what we came up with, so reading it here is confirmation that we are on the right track!” My Five Favorite Investments to Become a Millionaire.
“I love this. So many early retirees end up missing out on the journey and all the fun, crazy, frustrating things along the way because they don’t want to “waste” money on that. It’s a mindset that ends up making them push even harder into FIRE because they don’t enjoy their day to day life enough.” Four Powers To Lead You on a Wealth Adventure.
“That’s true! Getting our minds right, to focus most on the crucial/controllable things, prioritizing our time, and setting reasonable expectations in line with what makes us happy is the #1 goal for anyone interested in building wealth or, really, being happy! The way we use our minds guides our lives. It’s all about philosophy!” The Wealth Mindset: A Holistic Approach to Creating Wealth.
“This has been one of my favorite articles on your blog to read. All good points and so very true about breaking and no time for drugs or alcohol.” 7 Wealth Creation Tips I Learned in a Break Dancing Crew.

Motivating posts! Congrats on getting your readership up and becoming a writer. I just started my blog this year, it really changes perception when you write ideas and thoughts instead of just thinking.
Hey thanks @goodlife. I still have a long way to go to become the writer I see in my dreams, but at least I am past the starting stage, and have entered into building and growing stage. Thank you for being a loyal reader and commenter on my journey.
I’m interested in your novel and writing career. I have aspirations of my own, once the kids are older and maybe as a second career. I hope you post about that.
Oh, I will definitely be writing about my writing aspirations and career as it gets going. Follow along….. I’m just getting warmed up with what my real aspirations and ambitions are… to be a novelist and writer. When I started, I planned on this goal taking 3-10 years. I just finished year #1, and I am right on track. I just did a really cool 75 minute phone interview yesterday with a pretty cool journalist. Keep following my blog, and media page I link to in my weekly email newsletters, and watch as my adventure picks up speed. My first novel is to show that I can do it. I have 40 prime years of writing and story-telling ahead of me.
I should also add: I always say my novel “Spark” that I published on this blog as a trilogy. Book #1 was a teenager. Book #2, Brad is a college student. Book #3, he’s a adult and becomes a very smart, talented, and ambitious entrepreneur and humanitarian. The rough draft for book #2 is done. My writing/business plan is to pick up steam here at Wealth Well Done, and then when there’s a demand for more, begin to release more. Thanks MD!!!
William, you should write a book. Seriously. You already tell your story well. Then use it to launch more speaking gigs and so on – you have a story that needs to be shared. These comments are just more evidence of it.
Though I suspect you may already have that idea in mind…
