Elite-wealth-builders are ultimately warriors in life. To fully unlock the teachings in this blog, you must embrace a warrior mentality. Now is the time for you become a warrior.
Warriors don’t go easy on themselves. They don’t accept bad luck as their fate or destiny. Warriors fight for their dreams. They create opportunities to succeed in every area of their lives. To become a warrior, you must be willing to go to war with everything in your life that is holding you back from who you are meant to become.
Warriors must adopt the mentality that you can do anything and everything your soul dreams of doing. Learn to dig deep inside of yourself to find your God-given strength. Find the confidence to achieve your dreams. You can do anything you set your mind to.
I don’t care what background you come from, or what challenges you’ve faced in life. I don’t care if someone has told you, “You’re not good enough.” Or, “You’re not smart enough.” Or, “You’ll never amount to anything.”
I am here to tell you that you are good enough. I want to give you 100% approval and confidence that you are someone special. You are talented. You are smart. Your purpose in life is important. I believe in you. You can do anything you put your mind to.
Don’t listen to them: Listen to me! The first step to becoming a warrior is by believing that you were meant to be a warrior. You were created to be more than normal. You were created to be extraordinary. You have the strength to overcome every challenge holding you back from what you were meant to become. I am writing this article to show you how to become a warrior in your life and where to start.
Be Determined: Lesson #1 to Be a Warrior.
It takes massive amounts of determination to create massive dreams. Extraordinary individuals weren’t born extraordinary. They create themselves. Their success grows from the insight they learn as they go through the journey of life succeeding and failing with the rest of us. What ultimately separates extraordinary people, from being “normal,” is that they are able to muster amazing amounts of courage, and apply their insight, to chase their dreams.
Before you can become a warrior, the secret is that you have to want to become a warrior. You have to believe it’s possible. Then you must take the necessary steps to become a warrior. You must first WANT to do whatever it takes to create your dreams in life. You have to be EAGER to devote massive amounts of energy toward accomplishing your purpose in life.
Warriors will feel incredible amounts of pain and failure, before they can feel incredible amounts of achievement and glory. Pain and fear comes with the territory of being a warrior. You have to be Ok with this. Pain is a by-product of transformation and growth. You have to accept the fact that it will take pain to become a better person. You must transform that pain into determination. Then utilize that determination to create a better life for yourself. You can’t just daydream about it. You have to do more. You have to actually do it. You have to do what warriors do. You must embrace the pain and growth it takes to create your dreams. Pain and achievement are the experiences that create veteran, experienced warriors in life.
Take Advantage of Today: Lesson #2 to Be a Warrior.
Realize that your future starts with you. The quality of your future is dependent on what you do with the time you have today. Are you going to waste it? Or are you going to use your time to practice? Are you going to use your time to improve your skills, and create something extraordinary with the time you have?
Becoming a warrior is not about what you do tomorrow. It’s about what you do with the opportunities you have today. You have to want your dreams. You have to sacrifice for them. You have to be willing to abandon everything that is holding you back, and become someone greater than the person you were yesterday.
You have to be hungry for change. You have to want to become somebody better, stronger, smarter. It’s going to take huge amounts of pain, suffering, and practice to get there. But once you survive the pain of disciplining and pushing yourself, you will also begin to experience the glory of fame, wealth, and an awesome life that all great victorious warriors earn.
I hope I’ve opened your mind that you can become a warrior. Now I hope you are asking yourself, “So how do I become a warrior?”
The journey to be a warrior begins by you CHOOSING to abandon who you were yesterday. You then have to go to war with all of the issues you have in your life today. Every time you defeat an issue holding you back, you will take one step closer to becoming a victorious warrior in your life.
Becoming a Warrior Step #1: Go to War with Apathy. Take Control Of Your Life.
Great dreams and quests will not come and find you in life. If you want to live a great life, you have to go out and fight to earn it. Realize this truth to become a warrior. You must abandon all thoughts that you are a victim, and you must begin to think like you are a warrior in control of your destiny. Think strategically and creatively. Be calculated in every decision. Ask yourself, “Is this decision leading me closer to my dreams, or leading me further away from them?”
Warriors always make the decisions that will take them closer to their dreams. And if they make mistakes, they never blame others. They fix the problem, and try again, and again, until they get it right and succeed. Warriors don’t have time to feel depressed about their failures. They’re only concerned about it will take for them to succeed on their next try.
Become a Warrior. Discover what you want out of life, and then create your battle plan to get there.
Start small. Don’t be overwhelmed by massive visions. Great warriors don’t waste their time being overwhelmed. They break their grandest visions down to achievable mini-steps that they can earn one at a time. Over time, they become battle-tested. They find confidence in themselves every time they win a mini-victory. Eventually, all of those mini-victories become the ladder they climb to their dreams.
Warriors win massive wars, by focusing on winning one small battle at a time. Be on time. Be grateful. Be helpful. Be friendly. Live below your means. Spend wisely. Do more than the bare minimum. Take pride in following through on your word. Sacrifice pleasure, for the hard work it takes to create your dreams. These are the traits of a great warrior on their way to live an extraordinary life. Wealth is the journey of dreaming big, but taking small steps to get there.
Becoming a Warrior Step #2: Build Alliances with Talented People Who Can Help You.
Great warriors aren’t isolationists. They are great team-builders. People may think warriors just fight, but they do much more than that. They are expert relationship builders who create friendships and alliances with people who can help achieve much bigger goals than they goals they could have achieved on their own.
How do warriors build such awesome teams? And create such powerful influence?
They invest huge amounts of time and energy building alliances with other talented and determined warriors in the world. Warriors know that teams are bigger and more powerful than any individual, and so they seek out friends who are smarter and more experienced than they are. Warriors help warriors.
So if you want to become a great warrior, next time you’re bored and find yourself fiddling on your phone, or starting mindlessly into a fantasy world on a TV screen, think about the alliances you could be making with the people who can help you accomplish your dreams.
Go to war with your phone. Pull out the plug on the TV. Awaken the warrior inside of you. Ask yourself: ”What is my greatest, most powerful dream that my soul craves to live?”
Then ask yourself, “Who do I know that can help me accomplish this dream?”
And finally ask yourself, “How can I build a relationship (an alliance) with this person so I can begin building my own personal army to achieve my dreams?”
This is how warriors think. This is how you should be inspired to think. Put fear aside, and become a leader. Be willing to be vulnerable and make friends with people who are more talented, proven, and successful than you. Ask them out for coffee. Go for a walk. Find something fun you both like to do, and then interview the heck out of them. Learn from them. Study them. Practice the skills they have, so their skills become new weapons in your quiver. Ask them to join your team, and go on a mission to accomplish your dreams together. A skilled army is always more powerful than an individual warrior.
Becoming a Warrior Step #3: Go to War with Your Budget. Build your War Chest.
Five years ago I really didn’t have any money. I was just determined to find, and then achieve, my purpose in life.
The journey to find my purpose-in-life made me realize how powerful money is in our daily lives. Money is intertwined in every decision we make, and everything we do. We need money every time we need to solve our most basic needs of food, shelter, and social interaction. Ultimately I realized, to find your purpose in life, you need enough money to fund the adventure to find yourself. I’ve found having a healthy and ready war chest of money available to you is the best way to do this.
That’s why I believe it’s vital to save and invest every dime you can toward realizing your dreams in life. Start building your financial war chest now, so it’s available to you when an opportunity arises for you to go on an adventure to find yourself. Money isn’t all for saving. Money’s ultimate purpose is to buy you the adventure to achieve your dreams.
I enthusiastically give you 100% permission to go to war with wasting your money on stuff you don’t need. Instead, save and invest that money aggressively to build your financial war chest. Then use that war chest to pursue your dreams and achieve the purpose God created you for.
What are ways you waste money, and sabotage your financial war chest? Is it expensive coffees? Is it eating out? Is it a big car payment? Do you buy clothing to replace clothing that is perfectly fine? Is it expensive bar tabs? Is it Credit card bills? Is it student loans??? Find out what financial decisions are killing your ability to build a war chest, and GO TO WAR WITH THOSE DECISIONS AND DESTROY THEM LIKE THE WARRIOR YOU WERE CALLED TO BE!!!!
Becoming a Warrior Step #4: Go to War with Short-Term Thinking. Win in the Long Game.
War is long. It takes a ton of time and effort to win a war. See that you have to win a million little battles (your daily choices) to win the major war (your dreams) that your are fighting for. Learn to fight to win small battles, but think with a long-term view. You’re going to win some battles, and you’re going to lose some battles. But warriors stay consistent as they fight for their dreams. Try to win every decision. But warriors know that taking one step back, to take two steps forward, is still a way to win.
The Civil War lasted 4 years. World War 2 lasted 6 years. The War in Iraq lasted 10+ years.
Start seeing your life with a perspective of years, and not hours or days. What battles do you have to win in the next 1,2,3,and 5 years to reach your dreams? Focus on winning as many battles as you can to reach your long term goals, even if you fail occasionally in your short term decisions.
One of the most inspiring quotes that helped me visualize what I was capable in the long-term was this Bill Gates quote:
In conclusion, don’t be afraid. Become a warrior. Fight for the life you want to live. It is the only way to live your dreams. Be patient. Lead strongly. Fight with rational judgement, intentions, and purpose.
Go to war with the things holding you back in your life so that you can overcome them. You will be amazed by the life you create for yourself as you become a warrior. You never know who you are, or what you’re capable of, until you begin fighting to turn the dreams in your soul into your reality.
Yesterday was the best day to start. Tomorrow is the worst day. Today is your day. It’s time you start becoming a warrior. God bless.
Any thoughts, or moments in life, that have helped you become a warrior?

“Extraordinary individuals weren’t born extraordinary. They create themselves.”
You mean you don’t become great by being lazy? Or by blaming all your failures on others? Or by focusing on what you don’t have rather than on what you do have? I love it, Billy. This is the best “warrior” how-to I’ve read in a long time. Bravo, my friend.
Love the comment @MR Groovy as you nailed the Message I was shooting for perfectly. It’s been my mentality that has gotten me this far in life so far. Change your mentality, put action behind your thoughts, and you will begin to change your life into whatever you dream of. When I started to act like a warrior in my life, everything began to change, so that’s the inspiration I tried to share with anyone reading this.
I recently realized that I just write articles about the stuff I think about. Fortunately for me, the things that I think about the most have led me to create wealth. Think about these same things I write about, and I believe anyone can change their life and create their own unique path to wealth and extraordinary experiences.
The famous author, Gary Paulsen, once told me this once as he was teaching me: “The path to greatness comes in 3 steps: 1) Imitation 2)Exploration and 3) Innovation. To become great, you must first imitate greatness. Then, you explore your own talents and thoughts that can lead you to greatness. Then, you innovate, and create your own unique greatness. That powerful message and thought stuck with me, as it really is the path to greatness.
Thanks for stopping in Mr Groovy.
