Why Forgiveness Is A Free Way To Create Wealth

By Billy B | God | 4 comments | 13 April, 2017 | 0

Here’s a secret on how to live a wealthier life that I’ll share with you for free.   This is how incredibly-smart people improve the quality of their lives, even if they don’t have a ton of money.  Anyone can do it.  This is the secret:

Smart and wealthy people work extremely hard to find cheap ways to feel better about themselves and their lives.  It is in these improved feelings, that they find their purpose in life.   Really smart people know that all wealth ultimately stems from how you FEEL about your life.  The better you feel about your life, the wealthier you will believe you are.  When you feel wealthy, it doesn’t matter how big the pile of cash you have saved is.

This post describes one of the cheapest methods you can use to feel better about yourself.  It’s simple and free.  But unfortunately, it is one of the hardest things a human being can do.  This is the secret:

Choosing forgiveness and healing, over un-forgiveness, is a free way to feel wealthier in your life.
I like that thought.  In fact, I put it on twitter:

Forgiveness is one of the cheapest ways you can feel better about yourself. Stronger self-esteem leads to stronger feelings of being wealthy

— Wealth Well Done (@WealthWellDone) April 13, 2017

This thought has really caused me to stop and think about what becoming wealthy actually means.  Is wealth a dollar amount?  Is it a quantifiable credit and buying power?  Is wealth determined by how much debt you have?  How many materials you can possess?  How big your salary is?  Or is wealth simply the sum of your positive feelings, and the level of your self-esteem?  If a person can master their feelings, can they be considered wealthy no matter how much money they have?

As I pondered these thoughts, I realized the way we experience life is through the feelings we attribute to the reality we experience.  Therefore, the feelings of wealth are really just combinations of the feelings that we create when we consciously and unconsciously examine out lives.  Let that sink in:  Our feelings are free.  But to get great feelings of wealth, we have to put in a ton of sweat equity.

So if wealth is really just a mixture of special feelings, what feelings must we create to inspire the feeling of wealth?  I’d say wealth is a mixture of gratefulness, happiness, contentedness, adventurousness, and purpose.   If you can create these feelings, and be debt free, with a little bit of money to do what you must to enhance these feelings, then you can probably consider yourself wealthy even if you don’t have millions in your bank account.

Let’s explore this thought further:  I want to examine how the act of forgiveness leads to stronger feelings of being wealthy.  Let’s ask ourselves:   What are the feelings that un-forgiveness inspires inside of us?  When I choose not to forgive when I am hurt, I feel:  Anger, Frustration, Unfairness, and Pain.  These feelings do not lead to wealth.  In fact, they steal our wealth from us.

But when I choose forgiveness when I am hurt, I feel:  Hope, Strength, Peace, and the ability to change and move on with my life.  These feelings are the foundation upon which wealth grows.

So my thought on this is:  Always be aware and understand the feelings that you have growing inside of you.  Create happier feelings and you will automatically begin feeling wealthier in your life.  The law of wealth is:  The more content you can feel about your life, the wealthier you can feel in your life, no matter how much money you have.

If you can master free ways to feel better about yourself, such as choosing to forgive, you can feel wealthy without the pressure of always needing to make more money.

Here are three ways to use forgiveness to Create Wealth in your life:

Choose Forgiveness Step One:

Realize Wealth is ultimately a Feeling.

Learn to understand that the more positive feelings you have, the wealthier you will automatically feel.  Study your emotions.  See how your feelings relate to your reality.  Rather than putting a ton of stress on yourself to make more money, focus on improving the quality of your feelings instead.  Wealth is experienced more in our feelings than in our actual money.

What is a free way to feel better about your life?  Choosing forgiveness over anger is one option.

Choosing to forgive doesn’t mean you have to like, trust, or even associate with the person who has hurt you.  Forgiveness simply means that you have reached a point in your life where you’re Ok with letting go of your past pain, to exchange it for a happier future.  The less hatred, anger, and frustration you hold, the better you can feel about your life.

Choose Forgiveness Step Two:

Forgiveness Allows you to Control More of Your Life.

In order to create wealth, you have to be empowered with some control over your feelings.  But I’m not talking about the bad type of over-confidence control, because no one is ever in complete control of their life.  I’m talking about having the discipline, intelligence, and ability to wisely say yes and no to the opportunities you face in life.

The truth about forgiveness is that letting go of past hurts and anger, is one of the most effective ways to take control of your future life.  Why?  Because when we forgive and let go of anger, you can stop wasting all of that energy that’s going to past events and put that energy toward building a better future.  Forgiveness allows us to move forward to who we’re supposed to become in life.

When you choose to forgive, you take back control of your feelings and your life.  When you can start focusing some of your best energy on creating a fresh start in your future, rather than wasting it on the events and people who have hurt you in your past, you will begin your path to wealth.

That is ultimately what wealth is:  The feeling that you truly can do anything that you set your mind to.

Choosing Forgiveness Step Three:

Always Try to Fix The Root of your Pain.

Forgiveness is an act that can create immediate positive benefits in your life.  But before you can receive these benefits, you have to be willing to choose the actions that will get you those benefits.  You have to want it.  You have to be able to sacrifice your short-term anger, for long-term happiness.  Sacrificing the short-term pains for the long-term benefits is almost always a smart investment of your energy and time!

A truth to wealth-building is that you have to want something, and sacrifice for it, before you can get it.  Life is up to you to go out and create. You have to be willing to want better feelings about your life.  You have to want to move on from past hurts.  You have to want to find ways to feel better about yourself, rather than band-aid your pains with expensive purchases.

If you want to create wealth, you have to be willing to go to the deepest root of all your problems and fix them, rather than deal with the minor surface problem.

Forgiveness is one of the cheapest, easiest ways that you can improve the quality of your life.  Choose forgiveness, and you begin your path to unique wealth in life.

Who do you need to forgive to move on with your life?  We want to inspire you to do it now!

Good point! Not forgiving is so destructive to everyone involved.

Thanks @DAN! You just got right to the heart of what I was trying to say. The path to wealth is full of constructive, positive, hopeful, proactive steps. Not forgiving is the total opposite of these things. If you want to find your way to wealth, you have to master the actions that take you on these positive steps. Thanks!

This is a great post. All the money in the world is pretty useless if you don’t forgive. Living with that anger and resentment is such a burden. Moving on and seeking the next direction of the path for your life is so much better for growth. Thanks for writing this.

Thanks for commenting @High Income Parents! I actually saw you guys on twitter earlier today and I liked the niche you are developing. There is an audience for you out there. And also, thank you so much for agreeing with my thoughts on forgiveness! Your comment gives me confidence! Forgiving, and moving on, to a better future is the essence of what reaching wealth ultimately is. Finding deeper, healthier, and better version of yourself is probably more of an instrumental action to create wealth than even money is! Thanks for commenting!
