8 signs your dreams will become your reality

Eight Signs Your Dreams Will Become Your Reality

By Billy B | Mind | Comments are Closed | 17 August, 2017 | 2

Our dream at, Wealth Well Done, is to create a safe place to find your dreams and purpose in life.  Our dream is to inspire you to change yourself, and then change the world, by turning your dreams into your reality.

With each article, my goal is to create a mirror that you can look into and find yourself as you examine your own reasons for existence.   What do you want out of life?  Who do you want to become?  What were you created for?  My goal is to provide you a journey of words where you can answer these questions as you read the articles I write.

I try to write articles that make you question your existence.   You can find greater meaning to your life than just going to work; buying stuff; and hopefully retiring one day.  I dream of you creating wealth beyond your wildest dreams.  I define wealth as something much more than finding yourself in the highest taxable financial bracket and not knowing what to do next.

Wealth, to me, is an action.  It’s a quest to find your reason for existence.  It’s a lifestyle of pursuing your greatest dreams.  Wealth is a series of dynamic actions that increase the power in your mind, money, and faith, to achieve the purpose you were created to live.

Below is a list of eight signs that you are on your way to living your dreams.

If you see these signs in your life, you are on your way to your dreams.  If you aren’t seeing these signs, don’t give up.  Start incorporating them into your daily thinking.  These actions build on each other.  One sign will lead to another.  If you are seeing four signs, it becomes easier to get to all eight signs.  If you are seeing all eight signs, you are well on your way to living your dreams.   So as you read below, ask yourself, “Am I doing these things in my life?”

Sign #1 That Your Dreams Will Become Your Reality

You See Sacrifices as Opportunities:

You are constantly sacrificing the things you kind-of-want, for what you really want.  You are always eagerly seeking the macro-view of what you’re supposed to be doing in life; rather than only seeing the micro-perspective of satisfying your wants on a daily basis.

You know the only way to achieve the big goals in life is to invest all your time, energy, and resources into accomplishing the small things that will lead to big things.  The hard part is that the big goals often don’t offer any immediate self-gratification, and you’re Ok with that.  You’re patient.  You’re willing to sacrifice your minor wants, for a chance at achieving your major dreams.

You know that every time you make a sacrifice to accomplish your biggest dreams, you will become a stronger, more-mature, and better-prepared individual.  You are fully aware that it’s the most mature, strongest, and most prepared people in life who accomplish the biggest dreams.

Sacrificing your minor desires, for the opportunity to do accomplish massive things, is a step all successful people MUST take to achieve their dreams.

Sign #2 That Your Dreams Will Become Your Reality

You Respond Well to Criticism.

Criticism comes in all shapes, forms, and sizes; and if you want to live your dreams, you need to train your ear to react correctly to criticism.

Some criticism is fair; and some of it is unfair.  Some criticism is vital for you to listen to; and some criticism is like a sickness trying to infect you.   If you can learn how to decipher the constructive types of criticism, from the destructive types, it can be a big sign that you are headed toward your dreams.  This is what I mean:

Ignore the criticism that is intended to hurt, disable, and tear-down you and your dreams.  Simply make the decision NOT to listen to the opinions of people who are trying to hurt you and who want the worst for you.   Criticism like this will only cause pain and paralysis in you as you try to accomplish your dreams.  Fight against it.  Don’t listen to the cancer they spew at you.  Avoid their wicked words and thoughts at all costs.  This kind of criticism will only lead you away from your dreams, and into a nasty world of depression, anxiety, and helplessness.

But there is a type of criticism that can help you achieve your dreams.  It’s called constructive criticism.  And you need to embrace it if you want to turn your dreams into your reality.

Do everything you can do to seek out, and incorporate the learning lessons that constructive criticism can inspire in your life.   Don’t be afraid of it.  Seek it.  Constructive criticism can help you see the flaws that you miss.  People who are on their way to living their dreams don’t shrink in the face of constructive criticism.  They do the opposite.  The rise up to it and listen and learn from it.  They use the growing pains they feel from constructive criticism to become stronger.

As my favorite bible scripture says, “As Iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.”  Seek the counsel of good friends that offer wise constructive criticism.  Use it like fuel to drive yourself to your dreams.

Sign #3 That Your Dreams Will Become Your Reality

You Choose Friends Who Push You To Better, Not Worse.

You view great friends as the most valuable resource you can find in life.  Great friends are far more important and valuable to you than money.  Money can’t make you stronger, smarter, or more prepared to overcome the challenges blocking your dreams.  Great friends will.  Great friends can help when things get hard.

Great friends will provide you the opportunities to grow personally, socially, and spiritually.  Personal growth is  one of the major ingredients in creating wealth.  People living their dreams never turn down an opportunity to make a new friend.

Sign #4 That Your Dreams Will Become Your Reality

You’re not Afraid to Ask for Help.

You ask for help.  You want to learn from the mistakes of others so you don’t have to make the same mistakes.  Asking for help is the key to cut the time it will take to live your dreams in half.

You’re not afraid to ask for help, because you want the journey to reach your dreams as quick, efficient, and easy as possible.  Living your dreams is a lot easier when you have great friends who you can call on for help when life gets hard.

Sign #5 That Your Dreams Will Become Your Reality

You Stop Being Afraid of Failure.

You’re not afraid of failure.  You know successful people aren’t perfect. They actually fail more often than most people.  The reason they’re successful is because they’ve learned from all their failure.  Therefor, it’s their failure that teaches them how to be successful.

Stop seeing failure as a bad thing.  Start seeing failure as an opportunity to learn what you should, and shouldn’t be doing, and then start succeeding with the lessons you’ve learned.  Embrace failure.  Be Ok with it.  See failure as part of the necessary process to be successful.  It’s simple:  The quicker you get through the failure stage, the quicker you can get to your succeeding stage.

Sign #6 That Your Dreams Will Become Your Reality.

You Always Invest In Yourself.

You aren’t addicted to money.  You are addicted to growing personally, socially, and spiritually.  You know that the money you need will naturally come as a result of this growth.  Rather than spending your money on crap, you invest it into activities and things that will help you build the bridge to your purpose in life.

You know that trying to keep up with the Jones’s (on their modern instagram accounts) will only lead you to being a slave to debt.  However, you also know that investing in personal growth will lead you to becoming the person God created you to be.

Invest every dollar you make toward finding a deeper understanding of who you are.  Use your money as one of your greatest tools to help you answer all of your deepest questions in life.  The wealthiest people in life understand why God created them, and fearlessly pursue the mission they were created to live.

Sign #7 That Your Dreams Will Become Your Reality.

You Dream of Being a Leader; Not a follower.

You want to be different.  You want to create art with your life.  You wan to blaze your own unique trail.  You are willing to make unpopular decisions, and standing alone, when you believe it is the right decision to make.

This is called being a leader.  Dream of being a leader if you are going to turn your dreams into reality.  Take risks.  Fail eagerly so you can learn.  Do what God is calling you to do.  This is the essence of leadership, and it leads to a form of wealth so much more powerful than just money.

Sign #8 That Your Dreams Will Become Your Reality.

You Tap Into a Power Bigger Than Yourself.

You realize that the universe is such a giant place, and you are a tiny collection of energized atoms bouncing around in it.  Something created you.  There is  bigger purpose for your life than just surviving each day.  Some people call this revelation: Finding God.

You eagerly want to get to know God, because you know your dreams are too big to accomplish on your own.  You need help, so you ask God to help you.  You pray. You seek.  You try.  You search for your purpose.  When you are exhausted and alone, you rely on the power of God to push you past your own limitations.  You never give up, because you are living for a bigger reason than just yourself.

If you include all eight of these actions into your daily life, you will naturally start transforming your dreams into reality.

So did I miss anything?  What’s another sign that you will one day turn your dreams into reality?
