Great reminder to move past any excuses we might dig up! There’s so much we can accomplish if we put our mind to it.
Thank you so much Dan. Excuses kill dreams and drive our minds into shipwrecks if we don’t take control. We can be and do anything we set our minds to as long as we believe and know we can.
Hi Amanda! I love the YouTube video idea ?:) I also have read that book and it was very inspiring when I came to the realization that the past experiences do not have to control my present or future. I also found a blog, you may find interesting, the writer is Mark Manson and although a bit crude at times, he makes solid and valid points. An article I recently read was about separating our feelings from our decision making. I personally, had a hard time with accepting feelings as just that, feelings. They come and go, ebb and flow, good and bad, right and wrong but as easily as they come, they go as well. And it’s very freeing to realize that and live that way vs the other way. Obvious feelings are necessary, that just don’t have to rule ?Like you said, the mind is a very powerful tool that and once we realize we are in control of it, life gets so much better!!
Thank you so much Naomi! I really appreciate you not only taking the time to watch my video, but to also leave a comment. That means a lot. I will have to check out this Mark Manson guy. The name sounds familiar. Yes, feelings are just feelings and I too need to remember that. I sometimes forget that and I end up letting them rule my decision making at times. I never get amazing results when I do this. Thank you for the friendly feelings reminder. 🙂 Keep up the great work you are accomplishing in your life.
