Oh my goodness you guys are so cute!! I mean, I have chatted, emailed, seen pictures, but actually seeing you guys together and hearing you speak it’s such a different feel! 🙂 Great video – obviously you are both on the same page which makes for a happy union. You also mirror a lot of your movements which also shows an equality in your marriage that most old folks don’t even have!! Great message and well spoken. Keep it up, you two!! 🙂
Thanks Miss Mazuma! I thought you’d find it fun to actually see us in person. I’m sure I’ll have that same feeling when we finally meet you in person. Thank you for all the kind words about us and our marriage. But I want to stay humble and remind you of this law of human nature: When you see people make something difficult look super easy, that usually means there’s been a ton of practice and work put in behind the scenes to make things look so easy! I’d say this is true for our marriage too. In a short video, we can make our marriage look easy. But behind the scenes, the only reason it looks easy, is because we’ve put in hours and years of work to be able to learn how to work, understand, and compliment each other. I just wanted to share that for anyone who may be reading this in the future, thinking that their marriage isn’t as fluid or easy. We’ve made alot of mistakes on the way, but if you work at it, it can become fluid and easy. As for the video, I’ve always wanted to try it, and now that we have, I think it’s here to stay. I enjoy it. It comes natural to me, and it also showcases my no-fear attitude to get up and speak. Anyone want a speaker out there? Call me up! There’s a shameless plug. Haha! We were trying this with our computer camera first to see if we like it before investing in a real camera to make high-quality videos. I think that step may be in our future! Thanks Miss Mazuma and glad to have you as a trusted friend. Peace!
Love the video Bill! Glad to see some real video instead of reading blog posts!
Thanks Todd! This is something we wanted to try out, and now that we’re doing it, I think we’re finding out that we really enjoy doing it. I think we’ll publish articles on Thursday, and then answer a few of our questions about them on Monday’s in short videos. We wanted to shoot a couple videos first just with our computer before investing in a nice camera to shoot them. It’s always a smart financial move to try something new with equipment you already have, than to spend a ton of money on expensive equipment, and then realize you don’t want to do it and all that equipment gets thrown in a closet somewhere. There’s a little frugality tip mixed into this comment: To avoid regret, don’t spend tons of money on expensive equipment until you know you’re passionate about the activity and will get the most out of the equipment. Now that we’ve done a few, I think I see a nice camera in our future.
